I don't know about you but i don't think that someone who left a woman to die b/c he was worried about his political career(Chappaquiddick) is a hero or deserves to be buried in Arlington.

Arlington National Cemetery was originally designed to honor great American heroes for their distinguished military careers which include Congressional Medal of Honor winners. I hardly think Ted Kennedy falls into this category.

Let's face it, good, bad or indifferent the Kennedy's have been treated unlike any other political family in the history of this country. Frankly they have lived their entire lives "above the law". I think it's wrong but, it is what it is.

What troubles me most of all is that the general populous neither understand this nor do they really care. The moral fabric of this country, clearly is not what it once was. Right and wrong has very little meaning.

There are enough uneducated and misinformed people living today who are nothing more than followers. The let others think for them and make their decisions. If someone says, "Let's honor Ted Kennedy", they do it. They may not know why, but they just do it!

Sad!
