Basically I am wondering if I should try to fix this prior to selling the car. It has over 100k miles on it however, is in super clean and great running condition. The dealer has quoted over $4k for complete fixes but the car only books for $10k. Is it too much trouble to fix or are there cheaper alternatives to the dealer?

Keep your cash the trading dealer has cheaper resources than you as far as repair and ultimately your car is worth what it is worth. Detail it before you take it in, and put your 4k down on the next car you intend to purchase.
