I have hair growing on my food?

okay,well theres this chicken pata thingy in my fidge and we left it open in a zip lock bag...and it has been a week or so..since i last ate it, when i wanted to eat it again, i saw that it has this fur or hair growing from it, now it doesnt look like odinary hair, and it has this black stuff on the hair! what is it?! how did it get there? please help...

Molds, that's a kind of fungi, everything like bread, chicken, cheese.. has "hyphae" (fungi's cells). but these hyphae becomes molds when it's humid (fridge) then the temperature raises (when you take them out). However, when mold spores are present in large quantities (obviously your case), they can present a health hazard to humans, potentially causing allergic reactions and respiratory problems. But if not, you'll just feel a more acid taste, no side effects.
Anyway, it's better to clean your fridge, because mold spores can spread fast.
