My 4 month old daughter is pulling her blanket over her head at night. I've tried putting her in a sleep sac so she doesn't need the blanket, but she likes the feel of it on her face. I know blankets are not safe on a baby's face when sleeping, but what's the best kind to let her use in case she does pull it over her face?

My son is 7 1/2 months and he has done the same thing since he was about 4 months. Instead of a blanket, you may want to try a small burp cloth. My son has always pulled something over his face so I just started giving him a clean burp cloth and that has been his "security item" ever since. He never had the blanket so I cant give a suggestion as to how to take it away - but I feel you when you say You know what your child wants!!! At least with a small burp cloth, you may be a little more at ease. Good luck!

blanket covering her face or head probably just makes her feel safe. don't worry,it's doesn't matter.
