Do you feed the birds in your yard and what kind of birds do you see?

Have you ever spotted any unusual birds that aren't common to your area? What sort of food mixtures do you use if you do feed them? Thanks.. I love to watch and feed the birds and I wonder what sort of birds are out there in other parts of the country and world.

I always feed the birds in my backyard.

I also rescue and release wild birds.

The most commen birds I get during the winter is blue jays, starlings, pigeons, seagulls, house sparrows, mourning doves and crows.

Other breeds I've seen around my area is..

and trust me this did take a while to type lol.

American goldfinches, grackles, Baltimore oriole, brown headed cowbirds, red winged black birds, House finch, Cardinals, Dark eyes Juncos, White throated sparrows, Savannah sparrows, song sparrows, chipping sparrows, oven birds, black and white warblers, american redstarts, yellow warblers, yellow rumped warblers, cedar waxwings (one of my personall favourits), brown thrashers, gray catbirds, mocking birds (love how they copy other sounds lol), wood thrush, robins, swainsons thrush's, ruby crowned kinglets, house wrens, white breasted nuthatch's, red brested nuthacthes, black capped chikadee's, many tree swallows, least flycatchers, northern flickers, downy woodpeckers, commen night hawks (there actually not hawks), great horned owls, red tailed hawks, american kestrals, sharp shinned hawks, coopers hawks (one of them took my favourit pet pigeon), turkey vultures migrate over our house, great black backed seagull, ring billed gulls, killdeers, spotted sandpippers, american coots, bufflehead ducksm lesser scaup ducks, mallard ducks, candian geese, mute swans, loons, green herons ect...........................

2 birds I would like to see are a loggerhead shrike and a tufted titmouse.

As you can see I LOVE birds and I'm trying to spot everysingle bird in my bird book and trying to collect the feathers of each bird which is not too easy but so far so good lol. I feed my wild birds many mixes of seeds, corn, barley, hole wheat bread, boiled eggs, peanut butter, jams, peanuts, grapes, strawberries, lettuce, cooked rice ect.........
