I work for a private, small company and I will be handing in my notice this week in my current job and I am wondering what I am entitled to. I have 20 days of payed leave left to use and I am wondering if I am entitled to this?

Yes, but only for what you have actually accrued.

If your holiday year started in January and you are due to leave at the end of this month then the calculations would be:

20 days / 12 (the number of months in the year) x 9 (the number of months this year you worked for them) = 15 days owing to you.

Obviously minus anything you have already taken off.

Hope this helps.
