I am only 17 and s at the moment don't really pay many/any taxes, however, it just seems to me that taxes are going up and up. I heard on the radio that 3/4 of somebodys wage goes on tax and there is nothing anybody can do about it. I understand that emergeny services need funding.... but surely that doesnt cost 3/4 of somebodys wage?! Where is all this money being wasted?

We had some weird designer put some stone poles in the town centre... it cost 1,000,000 pounds (no joke). There just stone rods sticking out of the ground... money well spent ... no ... i would much rather pay less tx and not have these stupid things.

Thoughts?

Some of these posters haven't taken into account the hidden or indirect taxes, council tax, VAT, sales tax in excess of VAT (on things like car fuel, alcohol, etc), motoring offence fines, National Insurance Contributions, I could go on and on.
This Government is master of the game. How long before the electorate sees it? The problem is, there are so many on the various benefits who don't want the gravy train to stop.
