Most of the watches have 10:09 as their time. What's the significance of such time?

They use that time because of the way the hands look. It's the most photogenic angling of the hands on the clock, and it looks very attractive. For example, 6:30 just looks like one giant hand because the hands overlap. It makes people pay too much attention to it instead of the scene in the movie, or photograph. Another common position for the hands is 9:20.
