What was the Service Pistol in Vietnam between 1968-1970?
Asked By Alex,Last Answer By Lance T At 2011.05,1 Answers

My dad has shown some recent interest in guns, but commented he would love one like his old service pistol. Alas he has no idea what it was.

I would LOVE to buy him the same gun he used in the military for his birthday.

Can anyone help?

He says he was in the Vietnam Conflict
He was a Helicopter Crew chief in 191 Helicopter between 1968-1970
He also had a small stint as Military Police if that helps.

He said his patch was a Helicopter flying right at you with teeth.

Any help would be awesome.

Thank you

Yes, I the awakened
(March 3, 1968)

As that wondrous song bird lands upon expectations of glee, tears are tumbling like boulders felled by landslides. Her heartbeat blows inward upon a wayward breeze; but the wayward thwarts my bliss like a beguiled serpent. There, the thunder is calling from the distance as marauding darkness is ever closer; slap after slap upon my face are stinging hail stones that are tormenters for this warrior from the far shore.

That blackness spawns tremulous wind-blown protrusions; they are fashioned death arrows. Every barb is of well honed steel, targeting this heart, ruthlessly without worry of the deadliness. As my gazes are past the marauding darkness, the beguiled serpent has serenaded her heart. But hark back at my sadness soul; the wondrous song bird sang melodious accolades, knowing my heart is protected by a golden shield.

Retirement Party for PISTOL?
Asked By JACK,Last Answer By YKâ„¢(Done and Gone) At 2011.02,1 Answers

Ok, if Catcher-Cheater has had his retirement party, I think Pistol definitely deserves his own, not only because is one of my contacts, because he has always been one of the "good guys" on this section, with the best possible behavior all the time.

So, this isn't one of my best graphics (I'm pretty busy this week), but here's your "retirement party".

Good Luck Pistol.!!!!

What would you recommend for a small concealable pistol?
Asked By Uncle Pennybags,Last Answer By JohnS At 2011.05,1 Answers

It needs to be small. Something like a Taurus Slim 709 would be the very largest I'd want to consider. Smaller is even better, but at least a minimum of a .380. Price is a consideration.

What's reliable and concealable that would meet those criteria.

I mean, the clip holds nine rounds. But people'll only play with me if I go first.

What gives?
